Process
To take these pictures I used a relatively simple method. They were taken during the time period of my quarantine and I conducted my own research. To take the photos, I attempted to find the darkest area I could, which ended up being a closet. I utilized a tripod to keep the camera still and set the shutter speed so that the shutter would remain open for thirty seconds to take a photo. Aside from that, the other settings were left untouched. I then used a flashlight and a lighter to draw patterns faces and designs while the shutter was open which resulted in the pictures you see here.
